Praise & Prayer for August
Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:17 & 18
• For four new churches signed up to start Awana this fall.
• For more new churches inquiring to start Awana in the fall.
• For prayer partners who keep us constantly before the Lord.
• For our family, friends and ministry team partners.
• For His faithful watch and care over us, safe travel and good health.
• For volunteers who love kids and this Awana ministry!
• For new churches to follow through in their
interest in starting Awana this fall.
• For seven regional training classes held this month. That people would take
advantage of this training to sharpen their skills in ministry to children and
youth.
• That many children and youth will come to know, love and serve Christ through
the Awana programs in our area that are starting up for another year this month
and next.
• For our Awana Ministry Conference on October 4. As we plan and prepare for
another great conference year and for our conference guests and workshop
teachers as they prepare.
• That God would provide more monthly supporters to cover the 20% shortfall in
our monthly support. Just received word that two supporting church will be
dropping our support due to dropping Awana because of lack of leadership. We
need more monthly supporters to keep our account stable.
• For plans being made for another Commander College 101, this time in Columbia,
MO.
• That God would continue to provide new ministry team members and event
ministry team members to help with this growing ministry.
• For Jack Eggar, our Awana CEO, as he guides the ministry of Awana Clubs
International.
